About the role

Sunlong Fresh Foods PTY LTD is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Officer to join our team in our Perth, WA location. This part-time role will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of product quality and safety across our manufacturing operations.

What you'll be doing

Working under our Quality Assurance Team Leader, you will be assisting with the following

Conducting regular quality checks and inspections on raw materials, production processes, and finished products

Analyzing data and reports to identify trends and areas for improvement

Collaborating with production teams to implement corrective actions and preventative measures

Maintaining detailed documentation and records to comply with industry regulations and standards

Providing training and guidance to production staff on quality control procedures

Client Liaison

Investigating and resolving customer complaints related to product quality

Continuously reviewing and updating quality assurance policies and processes

What we're looking for

Relevant qualifications or certifications in quality assurance, food technology, or a related field

Minimum 2 years of experience in a quality assurance or quality control role, preferably within the food manufacturing industry

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and address quality issues

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards

Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

Proficiency in data analysis and the use of quality management software

Knowledge of relevant quality assurance regulations and industry best practices
