Situated in Melbourne's CBD with a dedicated office space, they are offering strong opportunities for Team Leadership exposure and ownership of key stakeholder relationships.

They also have a demonstrated history of growth, with strong financial backing and internal pathways to progression into senior leadership.

The Role

With dual reporting lines into Senior Management and Direct into CFO, this role will be responsible for:

• Leading a dedicated team of junior staff, as well as dotted line mentorship to a growing team.
• Preparing Financial Reports, including Month-end analysis and commentary on performance presented to Senior Leadership.
• Business partnering with key Internal and External stakeholders, providing key insights and relationship building.
• Assisting with the Annual Budget and Business Plan, including presentation to Senior Leadership.
• Partnering directly with CFO for ad hoc projects, including process improvement and business development.

The Ideal Candidate

To be successful in this position you must have:

• Prior experience in property accounting - hands-on experience with Retail assets is strongly preferred.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to partner with diverse stakeholder groups.
• Confidence liaising with junior members of staff, overseeing work and mentoring to develop their skills.
• A curious mindset and interest in process improvement, efficiencies and implementing best practice.
