Prime Pharmacy is a group of like-minded pharmacists who all share a common belief to improve the outcomes of our customers and patients.

We do this by consolidating functions such as finance, human resources, payroll and retail operations into a shared service model.

Our Pharmacists and staff are committed to providing excellent customer service and patient care by drawing upon the expertise that exists amongst the group.

We are currently looking after 20 stores across Victoria and Queensland with a strong presence in the Southeast Metropolitan and Regional areas of Victoria.

Prime Pharmacy operates under the Chemist Discount Centre, Advantage Pharmacy and Priceline Pharmacy brands.

The role

We are currently looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Accountant to join our fantastic Finance team based in Hallam.

The successful candidate will be working co-operatively in a small team reporting to the Financial Controller.

This role will offer working from home days after the probationary period has been successfully completed.

There will be in-house training and support available.

Tasks & responsibilities

Your tasks and responsibility for multiple entities within the group will include, however not limited to:

Day-to-Day Processing

Bank Reconciliation

AR & AP functions

Loading of payments

End-of-Month Processing

Assist in Financial Year End

Lodging BAS, IAS & PAYG

Providing ongoing support in the finance team

Ad hoc tasks

Qualifications & experience

CPA or working towards CPA

Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, MS Word

Problem Solving Skills with high attention to detail

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

High level of time management skills and be able to work under pressure

Self-motivated, willingness to learn and ability to prioritize

Positive attitude, a team player and has the ability to work autonomously
