Woods & Co have partnered with a rapidly growing business located in the heart of South Yarra. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on Accountant to join a close-knit finance team and play a key role in the business’s ongoing growth and financial performance.

What do you do?

• Manage month-end reporting and general ledger reconciliations
• Prepare and lodge BAS, PAYG, and other statutory requirements
• Work with external accountants and auditors
• Drive improvements in reporting, systems, and internal controls
• Support budgeting, forecasting and cashflow reporting
• Assist with inventory accounting and cost tracking
• Mentor junior finance staff and support the Finance Manager

What do you need?

• 3+ years’ experience in a similar role
• CPA or CA qualified (or in progress)
• Experience with Xero and strong Excel skills
• Excellent attention to detail and time management
• Ability to communicate effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders
• A proactive and adaptable mindset – you're comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
