Kentish Community Services is a community-based not-for-profit organisation providing nurturing and educational care for children in the Northern Territory from birth to eighteen years. Care is provided across various programs, including home-based family day care and out-of-home care, as well as Centre-based long day care.

The Role

We are recruiting a self-motivated NDIS Service Manager with a passion for operational excellence in the disability support sector to introduce and oversee the Kentish NDIS program. This is a highly hands-on, operational role requiring strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to drive high-quality service delivery.

Tasks & responsibilities

Full operational oversight of the Kentish NDIS program.

Introduce, implement and oversee the Kentish NDIS program to ensure we are meeting the NDIS practice standards, code of conduct, legislation, rules and regulations, and capability framework.

Ensure Kentish is meeting regulatory changes and sector-wide changes applicable to NDIS services.

Ensure smooth transitioning to ways of working with NDIS participants and to oversee the provision of recovery-focused, strengths-based and culturally appropriate support.

Reviewing arrangements for the NDIS and internal service/financial set-up required within Kentish.

Designing efficient, streamlined processes related to participants, service delivery, communication with the NDIA and Kentish’s internal systems.

To facilitate the development of strong community relationships and support for participants, the NDIS Service Manager will take a lead role in fostering effective and collaborative partnerships, including engagement with participants and access/referral to appropriate support services when they are needed.

Oversee the NDIS audit process and requirements.

Implement CRM software and manage the software.

Oversee the advertising and marketing of the Kentish NDIS program.

To be considered for the role the incumbent will have:

Diploma or bachelor's degree in a field related to disability services, social work or health.

Driver’s Licence

First Aid and CPR Certificate

Working with Children Clearance

National Police Clearance

At least three years of proven experience as an NDIS Service Manager.

Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

Strong understanding of NDIS incident reporting.

Strong understanding of NDIS standards and audits.

Strong knowledge of CRM software.

Knowledge of office and administrative procedures.

Awareness of confidentiality principles and their application.

Knowledge of computer software and their application.

Demonstrated knowledge and commitment to promoting and creating a safe and inclusive work environment and Work Health and Safety legislation.
