Out of Hours Scheduler – On-Call Role (2 Positions Available)

We’re looking for two reliable and responsive Out of Hours Schedulers to join our team in an essential on-call capacity. If you thrive under pressure, have experience in community or disability support, and want flexibility with your time, this could be your next opportunity.
🔍 About the Role
This on-call position ensures urgent support and continuity of care across evenings, weekends, and public holidays. Key responsibilities include:
Receiving and responding to after-hours calls
Actioning urgent shift changes
Providing guidance during incidents or emergencies
Following escalation procedures and maintaining accurate records
🕒 Roster & Availability
Rotating 4 days on / 4 days off roster (shared between 2 roles)
Weekdays: 5:00 PM – 9:00 AM
Weekends and Public Holidays: 24-hour on-call coverage
Initial Training: Two-week, part-time in-office induction
Occasional in-office attendance required for meetings and training
💰 Pay & Benefits
On-call allowance paid per SCHADS Award:
Separate weekday and weekend/public holiday rates
Active work paid at base hourly rate + penalties
Laptop and mobile phone provided
Flexible work-from-home arrangement
