Wright Choice Homes have a rare opportunity for an experienced draftsperson to join our team as an in-house professional. We are seeking a motivated individual with strong drafting skills who is eager to contribute to a dynamic role that involves a range of responsibilities and opportunities for design input.

We are Wright Choice Homes - a family-owned and operated business that specialises in building and relocating new transportable homes. With over 100 years of combined industry experience, we strive to be a leading Modular Home manufacturer in Australia, delivering high-quality homes to our clients. Our homes are designed and built at our main depot located in Caboolture then delivered to site as a single unit by our sister company Queensland House Removers. We have experienced steady growth and are looking to expand our team to support our rapidly growing business.

Your Role Will Include, But Not Be Limited To:

Producing accurate and professional drawings with a focus on precision and detail. While Revit is our preferred software, other tools may also be used.

Collaborating closely with our Sales team to fully understand and meet client needs and specifications.

Ensuring all drawings are compliant with Australian building codes and industry standards.

Keeping up-to-date on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

Effectively communicating with team members to ensure smooth project execution.

To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Need:

Experience working within fast-paced construction environments, managing multiple projects at once.

A minimum of 2 years of relevant Australian drafting experience.

Expertise in creating complete plan sets from scratch, as well as adapting standard plans.

Strong computer skills, with proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.

Exceptional time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

A solid understanding of Australian building codes, standards, and design guidelines.

An acute attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.

A proactive attitude, with a readiness to embrace new challenges and opportunities.
