Are you a people-focused professional with a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences? We’re looking for a skilled and proactive Customer Relations Officer to join our team at the City, where no two days are the same and every interaction counts.
As a key member of our customer experience team, you'll be the first point of contact for a broad range of customer enquiries across multiple communication channels. You’ll manage complex and sensitive requests with empathy, efficiency and professionalism – ensuring timely and effective solutions for both internal and external customers.
Location: City of Melville Civic Centre
Salary: $43.30 – $50.84 per hour (including 25% casual loading) + 11.5% Super
Employment Type: 2 Casual positions available
Your responsibilities will include:
Building strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
Using CRM systems to accurately record and manage information
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and quality assurance practices
Promoting a strong customer-first culture and contributing to a safe, healthy and inclusive work environment
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in high-volume contact centres
Strong communication skills - written and verbal with the ability to listen and respond with empathy
Solid skills in conflict resolution and problem solving
A good eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities at once
Confidence using customer management and digital systems, including Microsoft Office
