$70-$80 per hour Casual rate depending on experience.

We are currently offering multiple positions for both short and long term opportunities for experienced Light Vehicle Mechanics for an immediate start.

As a key member of a high performing team, you will play an important role in supporting the client’s project requirements.

Duties of the role:

You will complete routine inspections, diagnosing faults, testing machinery, and performing repairs and maintenance across an array of plant and vehicles at one of our projects located in the Goldfields region.

You will have a strong focus on safety and compliance, with excellent trouble shooting skills.

You will demonstrate initiative, and can work independently.

You will have excellent communication skills

The role specifics:

This role is offered as Drive In Drive Out (DIDO) only so applicants will need to live in Kalgoorlie or surrounding local areas

5/2 roster, with possible weekend work once and a while

Vehicle provided

Field Service work

Overnighter possibility but mainly home every night

Experience and Qualifications needed:

Current Light Vehicle trade certificate.

3+ years’ experience, including on Civil Sites and Mine Sites preferred not essential.

Permitted to work permanently with no restriction on hours (e.g., citizen, permanent resident).

Strong experience with maintenance and repairs on Toyota light vehicles highly regarded.

Experience with Forklifts, Generators and Lightening Towers an advantage

Valid C Class Drivers’ Licence.

Current National Police Clearance.

Willingness to undertake Pre-Employment Medical and Screening.
