About the role

KJJ Group is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Light Vehicle (LV) Mechanic to join our team in Exmouth, WA. This position is initially offered on a casual basis with the potential to transition into a full-time role, providing you with the flexibility to balance work with your lifestyle. As an LV Mechanic, you will be integral to the maintenance and repair of various light vehicles, ensuring the smooth operation of our client's fleet. This is a residential position, and accommodation can be provided for the right applicant.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair faults across light vehicle mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.

Perform scheduled servicing and maintenance on light vehicles.

Conduct light vehicle tire changes.

Test and inspect vehicles to identify and resolve issues.

Maintain accurate records of all work undertaken.

Provide exceptional customer service and liaise with clients to understand their needs.

Contribute to a safe and efficient workshop environment.

Qualifications

Relevant trade qualification in Automotive Mechanics or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an LV Mechanic, preferably in a workshop or dealership setting.

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.

Familiarity with a range of light vehicle makes and models.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
