About the role

Join the dynamic team at ID Automotive Repairs' as a full-time Light Vehicle Mechanic. This role is based in Port Kennedy, WA 6172, and involves hands-on maintenance and repair work on a variety of light vehicles. As a key member of our Automotive Trades team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and reliability of our customers' vehicles.

What you'll be doing

Diagnose, service, and repair a range of light vehicles, including passenger cars and small commercial vehicles

Conduct routine maintenance checks and services, including oil changes, brake inspections, and tune-ups

Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues

Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used

Ensure work is completed to a high standard and in a timely manner

Adhere to all workplace health and safety policies and procedures

What we're looking for

Formal qualification in Automotive Mechanics or a related field

Extensive experience as a Light Vehicle Mechanic, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality work

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve issues

Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service

Good written and verbal communication skills to effectively liaise with customers and team members

A valid driver's licence and your own tools
