Are you a skilled light vehicle mechanic looking for your next challenge? Schultz Automotive , a well-established automotive repair workshop operating for 40 years in Willetton, WA, is seeking an experienced light vehicle mechanic to join our team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing and maintaining a variety of light vehicles, ensuring our customers receive exceptional service.

Key responsibilities

Perform diagnostics, repairs and maintenance on a range of light vehicles

Carry out routine servicing and inspections to identify and address any issues

Maintain detailed records of work completed and parts used

Provide exceptional customer service and communicate progress updates

Ensure workshop policies and safety procedures are followed at all times

Collaborate with the team to share knowledge and best practices

What we're looking for

Formal qualifications in light vehicle mechanics, such as a Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology

Minimum 3 years' experience as a light vehicle mechanic in a workshop environment

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve vehicle issues efficiently

Excellent customer service orientation and the ability to communicate technical information clearly

A keen eye for detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work

A valid driver's licence and the ability to operate a range of light vehicles
