As the Manager, Growth and Engagement at Deaf Connect, you’ll lead a skilled team of digital marketers responsible for implementing and delivering digital campaigns.

You’ll shape and optimise how we connect with communities across digital and traditional channels, backed by values-driven leadership and a strong sense of purpose.

About the Role

The Manager, Growth and Engagement works under the direction of the Head of Marketing and Sales, with responsibility for strategy, delivery and continuous improvement across the organisation’s channel marketing activity.

This role leads the Growth and Engagement team and sits within the Marketing and Sales (Marsales) leadership group. You’ll oversee the execution of campaign strategies that drive business performance, stakeholder engagement, and social impact across Deaf Connect’s key programs, including education, interpreting services, fundraising, and the Deaf Lottery.

You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver multi-channel campaigns with measurable impact and develop the systems and platforms that support long-term engagement.

Main responsibilities of the role include:

Lead the implementation of end-to-end marketing and engagement strategies across Deaf Connect programs and the Deaf Lottery

Drive growth and retention by overseeing acquisition and engagement campaigns across owned and paid media

Manage the development and optimisation of systems, tools and processes to improve campaign delivery and reporting

Foster a high-performing, empowered and values-driven team culture

Lead relationships with key external partners, agencies and suppliers to ensure best-in-class delivery

Maintain compliance with legislation and licensing requirements for marketing activities and Art Union operations

Manage and report on campaign marketing budgets and contribute to strategic planning processes

About You

Proven experience leading multi-channel digital marketing strategies and teams.

Strong skills in campaign delivery, optimisation and performance reporting

Experience managing agency partnerships and external suppliers

Ability to lead with heart and create a supportive, performance-oriented team environment

High-level communication skills, including reporting, analysis and planning

Familiarity with compliance and licensing in regulated environments (e.g. Art Union/Lottery)

You should also let us know if you have these other great skills:

Tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications or a related discipline

An understanding of the community or not-for-profit sector

Experience in the charity lottery or gaming sector

Auslan skills, or a willingness to learn
