About This Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for a Manager, Marketing and Student Acquisition to lead the development and implementation of UQ Skills' annual marketing, engagement, and student acquisition plan. The Manager will provide strategic advice and collaborate with key University teams and stakeholders to optimise digital solutions and maximise campaign impact. Key responsibilities will include:
- Lead the development and implementation of UQ Skills Annual Marketing, Engagement and Student Acquisition Plan as well as an integrated enquiry management and conversion strategy.
- In collaboration with other University teams, coordinate student recruitment/engagement activities with stakeholders including career markets and expos, alumni engagement, information sessions, visits, outreach activities, campus experiences and other recruitment events.
- Manage the leads management process for UQ Skills, ensuring efficient tracking, nurturing, and conversion of prospective students. Develop and implement strategies to optimise lead generation and engagement, utilising CRM systems and data analytics.
- Oversee the development of key electronic and hard copy marketing and communication resources and campaigns for UQ Skills in line with RTO regulations.
This is a part-time (between 60-80%), continuing position which reports to the RTO CEO (Director of UQ Skills) and works closely with central and Faculty of Science teams.
At HEW level 8, the full-time equivalent base salary will be in the range $113,377 - $127,112 p.a. plus a generous super allowance of up to 17%. The total FTE package will be up to $132,651 - $148,721 p.a. As this role is covered by an Enterprise Agreement, you will also receive regular remuneration increases - at least once a year.
UQ Skills is committed to recruiting talent for this role. As such, full time appointments will be considered and the total salary package above will be negotiated based on individual merit.

About You
You are a dynamic and motivated professional with a passion for marketing, communications, and student recruitment, equipped with a relevant higher education degree and at least five years of experience in the industry. You may have primarily excelled in either marketing or student recruitment but possess the skills and knowledge to traverse both areas. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are excited about the opportunity to contribute to UQ Skills' success.
You bring a wealth of experience in managing marketing campaigns, engaging with diverse stakeholders, and/or driving student recruitment initiatives. Your strong organisational and analytical skills along with project management skills enable you to develop and implement effective strategies that achieve results because you, too, simply want to make a difference.
