The Role

We are looking for a Meal Assembly Team Leader to play a key role in the day-to-day success of our production operations. Reporting to the Production Manager, you’ll lead a dedicated team responsible for assembling, packaging, and storing high-quality meals. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, food production environment and takes pride in delivering excellence.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Coordination

Lead and coordinate the meal assembly team for maximum efficiency

Train and support new team members in assembly processes

Quality Control & Presentation

Maintain consistent presentation and portion sizes

Ensure all products meet company standards

Communication & Reporting

Liaise with the Production Manager and kitchen staff for smooth workflow

Monitor stock levels and report issues or discrepancies

Inventory & Stock Management

Assist with inventory control systems for quality and quantity

Monitor and maintain stock levels

Cleanliness & Compliance

Keep the work area clean, organised, and food-safe

Participate in daily and scheduled deep-cleaning tasks

Qualifications & Experience

Experience (minimum 1 year) in a similar role in a production environment

Strong leadership and problem-solving skills

Knowledge and understanding of Food Safety and HACCP programs

High level of attention to detail

Excellent communication (written and spoken) and interpersonal skills

Ability to multi-task, work within deadlines and under pressure.

Professional presentation and ability to communicate with a diverse range of cultures.

Flexibility is required with the ability to work alternate or additional hours when required

Current National Police Clearance
