First Focus is Australia's best mid-market managed service provider, bar none (we just got voted Australia #1 MSP for the 8th year running. Check it out on cloudtango dot net). We are growing fast and now have over 300 staff across Australia, New Zealand, Philippines, South Africa, and Ireland. We are a stable and very focused company, with over 15 years of consistent growth and we're continuing to win new clients and evolve our solutions.

We’re looking for several ambitious, people-savvy graduates to join our Community & Engagement team at First Focus. This is an ideal opportunity for recent Marketing or Business graduates who want to start their careers in a hands-on, high-impact role that combines client engagement, events, and B2B social media.

As part of the team, you’ll help First Focus stay connected with the people who matter most to our business—our clients, past contacts, and future partners. You’ll assist with events, coordinate outreach initiatives, and support our client lifecycle gift program. You’ll also take an active role in our LinkedIn engagement strategy, helping us connect meaningfully with clients and prospects in a way that’s professional, authentic, and on-brand.

We are looking for an exceptional Community & Events Associate ready to apply their strengths in communication, problem-solving, and collaboration. Why consider joining First Focus? Working here, you will get the opportunity to be at the centre of our growth engine and:

Help coordinate and support company events across Sydney, Brisbane, and beyond.

Manage day-to-day LinkedIn engagement by interacting with the pages of clients and prospects in our target market.

Create and post engaging content on LinkedIn that reflects our brand voice—with value, insight, or humor.

Monitor staff movements within client organizations, send welcome/goodbye gift packs, and support sales in following up those contacts.

Use tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, HubSpot, and Canva to support community engagement and outbound marketing.

Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to ensure timely communication and follow-through.

If this all sounds like what you want to start doing with your career, apply today or read on for more.

Requirements

This is a fast-paced, learning-rich environment where your contributions will be visible and valued. This role is designed for recent graduates ready to apply their strengths in communication, problem-solving, and collaboration. You will be involved in and need to grow and demonstrate strengths in:

Stakeholder Engagement: Strong interpersonal skills with excellent written and verbal communication abilities

Problem-Solving: Proactive and solutions-oriented approach to identifying and addressing challenges

Team Collaboration: A cooperative mindset with a genuine eagerness to learn and contribute

Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with event management tools and platforms is an advantage

Flexibility: Willingness to work outside of regular business hours when required

Our Values: Our values really matter to us and inform how we work. We seek people for whom those values resonate too. Check them out on the About Us page of the First Focus website.

We’re not looking for years of experience—just strong communication skills, initiative, attention to detail, and the ability to write with clarity and personality.

Benefits

First Focus’ values are based around keeping everyone informed, aligned, supported, and rewarding performance. Some examples of this include:

Flexible Work: A role that fits around your lifestyle.

Impactful Work: Lead exciting, high-profile events that drive engagement and build relationships.

Collaborative Environment: Be part of a dynamic and supportive team.

Growth Opportunities: Gain experience working with one of Australia’s top-rated Managed Service Providers.

Competitive Remuneration: Attractive compensation package for the right candidate.

Support to Grow: 10 paid days of training leave per year
