X-Golf Shire is looking for a sharp, creative, and driven Marketing & Events Coordinator / Assistant Venue Manager to join our leadership team. This is a dual-role position split between crafting compelling marketing campaigns, driving functions & events and supporting the smooth day-to-day operations of the venue.

About the Role

This is the perfect role for a marketing and events professional who wants to be in the action—balancing the excitement of venue operations with the freedom to work on strategy and campaigns off-site.

You’ll be responsible for leading local marketing initiatives, coordinating and executing events, building brand awareness, and driving community engagement. At the same time, you’ll help oversee the venue, ensuring a seamless, high-energy customer experience.

Your Key Responsibilities

Marketing & Events (50%)

• Plan, develop, and execute local marketing campaigns to drive foot traffic and bookings

• Create and manage engaging social media content across platforms

• Coordinate all aspects of in-venue and off-site events—from concept through execution

• Build relationships with local businesses, groups, and communities for cross-promotions

• Track performance of campaigns and event success metrics

Assistant Venue Management (50%)

• Assist in managing daily operations and staff scheduling

• Welcome guests, guide them through offerings, and ensure a premium customer experience

• Upsell memberships, packages, and food & beverage options

• Ensure high standards across service, cleanliness, and venue presentation

• Lead by example, support staff, and help maintain team morale and momentum

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in marketing, communications, or events (ideally in hospitality, retail, or entertainment)

• Confident, creative communicator – both online and in person

• Strong organisational skills – you know how to juggle multiple projects and still keep things fun

• People-first mindset – warm, approachable, and proactive in customer engagement

• Sales-savvy – you can promote offerings naturally and effectively

• Flexible & self-motivated – comfortable balancing on-site shifts with off-site marketing responsibilities
