About the Job

Working as part of a 4-person finance team, you are immediately available and are expected to:

Prepare fortnightly Payroll.

Reconciling bank accounts and credit card statements.

Managing payables, including making weekly bill payments and reconciling supplier statements.

Create monthly sales invoices in MYOB.

Lodge monthly and quarterly BAS returns.

Any other ad-hoc duties, as required.

Assisting with the month-end and year-end financial close across multiple business entities.

Assist with the year-end audit.

About You

You will be a detailed, enthusiastic & commercially minded person with the following skills and qualifications:

Must have a bachelor's degree in accounting.

A minimum of 3 years of hands-on accounting experience

Experience with MYOB is desired.

Must be an excellent communicator with strong written and verbal skills.

Strong Excel skills.

Analytical and problem-solving ability

Willing to accept challenges and look for solutions.

Accurate and able to work unsupervised and under pressure.

A professional attitude with an extremely high regard for confidentiality

Excellent time management skills

Excellent interpersonal skills and a cooperative and willing team member.
