Reporting to the Group Financial Controller (GFC), this role is based in our new, bright and modern Port Melbourne office surrounded by cafes, restaurants, parks and Woolworths. Easily accessible via bus or trams and there is free on-site parking.

What you’ll do

Own day-to-day accounting operations (AR, AP, GL reconciliations)

Prepare EOM and EOY close processes

Prepare accurate and smart spreadsheets

Partner with GFC to support audits and compliance filings

Help identify opportunities to improve efficiencies

Be flexible and open to rolling up your sleeves for occasional ad hoc tasks—we’re a team that wears many hats!

What you’ll bring

3+ years of accounting experience (great if you’ve worked in a large or fast-paced environment)

Degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or CA a plus)

Strong command of accounting software (QuickBooks and Xero)

Experience in AR collection and using Simpro will be VERY advantageous!

Detail-obsessed, spreadsheet-savvy and a curious mindset with the confidence to suggest better ways to do things.
