About the Role:

Rowville Post Office is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Casual Post Office Assistant to join our team during the months of August and September. This role involves working full-time hours on weekdays and provides an excellent opportunity for someone with strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to excellent service.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide friendly and efficient customer service at the counter

Assist with mail and parcel processing, including handling deliveries and returns

Perform cash handling and operate point-of-sale systems

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the retail and service areas

Support day-to-day postal operations and administrative tasks as required

Key Requirements:

Previous retail or customer service experience preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Reliable, punctual, and well-organized

Basic computer literacy

Must be available Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM during August and September
