Pay: $42.66 per hour + super

About us

Melbourne High School is a State Government academic high school for boys in years 9-12 located in South Yarra. It is one of four academic select-entry Victorian Government schools.

About the role

· This role involve opening up the school premises at 6:30 in the morning, Monday-Friday.

· General cleaning and upkeep of school premises and grounds, and availability for ad hoc cleaning and moving of equipment and furniture for school events and functions.

Working with the Facilities Manager, the primary purpose of this role is to maintain the onsite general cleanliness of the premises and school grounds, and assist with identifying and reporting to the Facilities Manager all environmental and safety hazards, incidents and accidents in a timely manner for action.

This role will also involve assisting the Facilities Manager with minor general maintenance works and repairs. This is why a trade certificate/s will be highly regarded.

Driver’s licence preferred

Have or be able to obtain a valid Working With Children Check – Type: Employee
