Looking experienced Curry and Tandoori Chef for our busy Indian restaurant in Mill Park vic.

Preparing various food items .

Pre-cooking preparations such as washing, chopping, peeling, cutting, and boiling the meats, seafood, salads, vegetables, and fruits.

Follow recipes including measuring, weighing, and mixing ingredients.

Preparing food items keeping in mind the nutrition value of the items included.

Check quality of food before serving and examining of food by tasting it

Season the food with various spices.

Controlling and regulating oven temperature

Follow workplace health & safety procedures.

Handling and labelling stored goods.

In Return, for your commitment and skills, you will receive a competitive salary package (75K) plus Super and receive ongoing training with an opportunity to develop your skills. Applicants with formal qualifications (AQF Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery) and 2 years of practical experience working as a COOK /CHEF in an Indian restaurant will be prioritised. Position is available full time, 38 hours/week but applicant must be available for 7 days/week and willing to work odd hours (Weekend & late shifts).
