We're looking for an experienced and motivated Chef to join a supportive aged care community located just 20 minutes from Craigieburn. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone local to Gladstone Park who is passionate about providing high-quality, nutritious meals in a homely and person-centred environment.

What's on offer:

Full-time position - 76 hours per fortnight

Hourly rate: $34-$38 (depending on experience)

Day shifts only - no late nights

Your role will involve:

Leading the day-to-day running of the kitchen and food services

Planning and preparing seasonal menus in consultation with residents and clinical staff

Overseeing and maintaining compliance with the Food Safety Program

Catering to a variety of dietary requirements and preferences

Ensuring food presentation, quality, and meal service enhances resident enjoyment

Supervising kitchen staff and maintaining stock control within budget

What we're looking for:

Minimum 2-3 years' experience as a Chef or Cook in an aged care setting

Relevant chef qualifications or trade cook certificate

Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (mandatory)

Experience in menu planning and special dietary requirements

Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene and kitchen operations

Compassionate, team-oriented and reliable
