About the role

Farouj' is seeking an experienced Chef/ Cook to join our team at our new chargrill chicken store located in Aintree, Victoria. As a Chef/ Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a range of delicious chicken dishes for our customers including the marination of chicken for cooking on our rotisserie. Our menu will range from Chargrill butterfly chicken (with various basing), fried chicken, nuggets, tenders, chicken wraps and the preparation of various salad options. This is a full-time role.

What you'll be doing

Prepare and cook menu items to our high standards of quality and presentation

Ensure adherence to all food safety and hygiene regulations

Assist with menu development and food cost management

Supervise and train kitchen staff as required

Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Chef/ Cook, ideally in a chargrilled chicken business

Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and menu development

Excellent time management and multitasking abilities

Keen eye for detail and commitment to delivering high-quality dishes

Team player with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced kitchen

Food safety and hygiene certification
