About the role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Specialist Medical Receptionist to join our dedicated team at Care Cardiology Pty Ltd in Rockville, Queensland. This is a casual position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work in a dynamic and rewarding healthcare environment. The position would most likely suit someone who is semi-retired as it would be 10-20 hours per week and involve annual leave cover.

What you'll be doing

Providing exceptional customer service to patients and visitors

Handling patient enquiries, bookings, and appointment scheduling

Maintaining accurate medical records and patient information

Assisting with the preparation and organisation of medical procedures

Collaborating with the clinical team to ensure the smooth running of the practice

Performing administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and general office duties

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar customer service role within the healthcare industry

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with patients, clinicians, and colleagues in a professional and empathetic manner

Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively

Proficiency in using medical software and technology

A friendly, positive, and customer-focused attitude

Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to healthcare regulations and policies
