We are currently seeking a junior Medical Receptionist to join our Team. This is a casual position with shifts across weekdays and some weekends. We are however open to permanent contracts also for the right person.

Ability to learn quickly, good work ethic and ability to commit to our team.

What you’ll mainly be doing

Managing appointments and welcoming patients as the first point of contact within the Centre

Answering incoming phone calls and assisting with enquiries

Attending to patient billing and processing payments

Providing high quality, accurate and efficient reception and administration services

What you’ll need to succeed in this role

Be a team player, with the ability to support your colleagues and make a positive contribution to our workplace culture

Previous experience as a medical receptionist in a medical centre advantageous

Current knowledge of ‘Best Practice’ software advantageous

High attention to detail

Exceptional customer service skills with an ability to respond considerately to patient needs

Excellent organisational and communication skills

Ability to multitask – prioritising patient care

Ability to work independently, as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
