About the role

Dr Georgia Hume and Dr Mariko Howlett Gastroenterology are seeking a reliable and friendly Assistant Medical Receptionist to join their team on a casual basis. The role will be based in our South Brisbane clinic and will involve providing administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the practice.

What you'll be doing

Greeting patients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner

Answering and directing incoming phone calls

Scheduling patient appointments and managing the appointment diary

Assisting with patient registration and file management

Performing general administrative duties such as photocopying, filing and data entry

Maintaining a clean and organised reception area

Providing exceptional customer service to all patients

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a medical or customer service environment

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities

Proficiency in using medical practice management software

A friendly, professional and reliable approach

Ability to work well in a team and independently
