Become a valued member of our vibrant team, at our energetic physiotherapy clinic! Total Health Physiotherapy Kedron is a newly established, locally owned physiotherapy clinic dedicated to providing high-quality care to our local community.
We are seeking another dedicated receptionist to be a welcoming face for our clinic, who will play a pivotal role in building our brand from the ground up. This is a job-share position with hours shared between yourself, and our current awesome receptionists.
This position is NOT suitable for applicants seeking full time employment. We are open Monday 7:30am – 7:00pm, Tuesday 8:00am – 5:00pm, Wednesday 9:00am – 7:00pm, Thursday 8:00am – 7:00pm, Friday 7:00am – 4:00pm, and Saturday 8:00am – 12:00pm, with split shifts available on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday. We would love to know the shifts that would be perfect for your lifestyle! As this is a job share position, our preference is to have all receptionists working the hours that best suit them, so we have a reliable, happy, and cohesive team.
We are in a prime location with abundant public transport and ample free car parking. Remuneration will be commensurate with the Health Professional and Support Services Award and the skills and experience of the successful candidate. As our clinic grows, you'll have the chance to grow with us, contributing to the success of our practice and positively impacting our patients lives.
Main Duties/Responsibilities:
Welcome patients upon their arrival with genuine warmth
Answer phone calls, emails, inquiries from patients, referrers and external health professionals
Maintain an efficient booking system (Nookal software)
Track, report and coordinate treatment plans and patient referrals
Scan, file and digitally organise documents daily
Collect payments, issue receipts and manage billing inquiries (HICAPS, EFTPOS, Xero software)
Maintain a clean and safe workspace
Assist therapists and other clinic staff with administrative tasks as needed, including managing inventory
Uphold confidentiality and privacy standards in accordance with Privacy Act
Skills and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in office administration or healthcare administration is essential
Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role, preferably in a medical or healthcare setting
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional and courteous demeanor
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively
Proficiency in computer skills, including experience with electronic medical records systems and Microsoft Office suite
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively as part of a team
A strong client focus, excellent presentation and a demonstrated ability to contribute effectively within a team environment
Social media skills would be welcome
