Bush to Beach Legal are a young and vibrant firm, with headquarters based in Forest Glen on the beautiful Sunshine Coast. We are currently experiencing rapid growth throughout Queensland and are looking for an experienced Conveyancing Assistant to join our knowledgeable and friendly team.

About The Role

In this role, you will provide essential support to one or more senior conveyancers, helping to manage residential property transactions from start to finish.

Your responsibilities will include:

Preparing contracts, settlement statements, and other conveyancing documents

Liaising with clients, real estate agents, banks, and solicitors

Assisting with PEXA settlements and trust account management

Managing critical dates and ensuring files progress smoothly

Conducting property searches and handling general administrative tasks

We are seeking someone who can hit the ground running and as such only applicants with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in current conveyancing practices and procedures will be considered.

This role is work-from-home for the right candidate. We understand the importance of balance and are open to discussing arrangements that suit both you and the needs of our team.

Remuneration will be aligned with your experience and the value you can bring to the team.

About You

To thrive in this role, you will have:

A minimum of 2 years’ experience in conveyancing support or a similar legal role

Strong knowledge of residential conveyancing processes in Queensland

Proficiency in using PEXA, Outlook, Microsoft Office and relevant legal software. Prior experience using Smokeball would be highly desirable.

Confident in building relationships and establishing connections with potential referral partners.

Excellent communication and organisational skills

Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently under deadlines

Ability to manage your own workload and prioritise competing tasks

A client-focused approach and the ability to work well in a team
