The Institute for Urban Indigenous Health Ltd was established by its founding members to provide a coordinated/integrated approach to the planning, development and delivery of comprehensive primary health care services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander populations within the Southeast Qld Region.

About the Role?
The position will work under the guidance and direction of the Cultural Integrity Investment Framework Lead and work collaboratively with the Organisational Development team and Senior Managers to participate in (and in some cases lead), events, activities, resources, education and training to implement the Cultural Integrity Investment Framework across IUIH. In line with the IUIH Core Values Statement, the objective of the Cultural Integrity Investment Framework (CIIF) is to ensure that cultural ways are interwoven strategically through all aspects of operation (not limited to cultural awareness activities). The CIIF strengthens the philosophical grounding of the sector by providing a framework for how the network and workforce relates to each other and how our workforce relates to the community.
Day to Day Duties Include:
- Assist and sometimes the development of activities which foster and embed Cultural Integrous approaches across IUIH and the network.
- Assist and sometimes lead the development of events, activities, resources, education and training of the workforce to ensure culturally integrous approaches are interwoven strategically through all aspects of clinical service delivery operations
- Assist in and sometimes lead the review and continuous improvement of activities, resources, education, and training and training models, process and materials
- Assist in and sometimes lead the facilitation and co-facilitation of training and education
- Assist in and in some cases lead the implementation of culturally integrous approaches within all aspects of IUIH’s operations
About You?

- Demonstrated ability to work within Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and their leaders, respecting traditional culture, values and ways of doing business
- Demonstrated ability to analyse, plan and deliver recognised or unaccredited training, one on one or in larger groups.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects, including planning, implementing and delivering outcomes within agreed timeframes and budget.
- Demonstrated organisation skills, including the ability to coordinate a range or tasks, negotiate timeframes, and handle competing priorities in order to meet tight deadlines.
- Current C Class Drivers Licence (QLD)
- Current Criminal History Check
