The Role
We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented and motivated Financial Administrator / Accounting Officer to undertake and maintain a wide variety of financial tasks, reporting to the General Manager (GM) and Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The role will be responsible for:
· Management of accounts receivable and payable, including invoice entry, reconciliation and payments.
· Management of trade credit applications, including review, approval and control of payment limits.
· Fortnightly pay-run processing.
· Undertaking weekly bank reconciliations and monthly reconciliation of the Triumph accounting system.
· Administration and reconciliation of staff corporate cards.
· Management of foreign exchange payments and currency hedging (mainly EUR and USD) under the guidance and instruction of the GM and CFO.
· Supporting the GM and CFO with relationships and communication with banking, insurance and IT partners.
· Supporting the CFO with reconciliations, compliance and reporting requirements.
· Supporting the GM with management and control of service job processes within the Triumph job processing management system.
· Management of general administrative duties including filing, document organisation and other admin / finance tasks as required.
The role provides the key financial and accounting support for the GM and Group CFO and will work closely with the workshop, parts and sales managers to provide integrated support and control of all financial aspects within a small team environment and a growing business.
The Position
Whilst a full-time opportunity is available, there is considerable scope for a more flexible arrangement to be negotiated for the right candidate, for example less than 5 days per week or reduced / flexible work hours to suit work / life balance.
What we’re looking for
· A degree in accounting / finance or similar qualification is preferred, but not essential.
· Proven financial and accounting administrative skills in a commercial environment.
· Strong computer skills, including Outlook, Excel, Word and experience with Xero.
· Experience with the Triumph accounting software would be an advantage, but is not essential (training can be provided).
· Good interpersonal skills (verbal and written) with the ability to communicate at all levels.
· Strong time management, attention to detail and to work unsupervised.
· Reliable and adaptable to various tasks within a small business operation.
