About the role

Join the team at Programmed Facility Management as a full-time Trade Assistant based in Newman.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Trade Assistant that is locally based or open to relocation.

What you'll be doing

  • Assisting Tilers, Carpenters & Plumbers with their day to day works
  • Small Paint jobs, Door Handles, Removing Tiles, Skirtings, Eave Sheets, Kitchen Cabinetry, Small paving works & Site cleans
  • Cleaning duties are necessary for this role
  • Use power tools as required
  • Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment
  • Monday-Friday
  • 9.5 hour days | 47.5 hour week
  • Permanent position with annual leave entitlements
  • Vehicle included

What we're looking for

  • Exposure to assisting building trades - Carpentry, Electrical, Plumbing, Painting, Tiling
  • Cleaning experience desirable
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Police clearance obtained within 6 months or willing to obtain
  • Residential to Newman or willing to relocate
  • Previous experience with public housing works & remote areas highly desirable
  • Genuine commitment to safe work practices
