The Role
The Town of Port Hedland is seeking a dynamic individual for the role of Governance Support Officer. This role is about more than administrative tasks; it's an opportunity to shape the efficiency, transparency, and compliance of our organisation. Your data entry, administration, and customer service skills are prized assets that will be fostered and developed. In this role, you'll be providing top-tier administrative support for Council and Committee meetings, showcasing your organisational expertise. Skillfully manage Governance-related forms, documents, and reporting, demonstrating your strong attention to detail. Your impact extends beyond administrative tasks - become a key player in coordinating Governance-related events like Citizenship ceremonies, adding vibrancy to our community.

Work Related Requirements
The preferred applicant will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol assessment to be considered for the role, as well as possess:
- National Police Clearance
- Current 'C' class drivers license
- Rights to work in Australia
