About the Position

Are you passionate about empowering others with digital skills and making technology easy to understand? We are looking for a Digital Literacy Training Officer to join our People & Performance team, and to deliver fun and engaging training on our digital platforms including Technology One OneCouncil solution, the Microsoft suite of products (Windows Operating System, Teams, Excel, Word, Outlook, Copilot, SharePoint etc). In this new role, you will enhance digital literacy capability throughout the organisation by designing, delivering and organising digital training workshops, 1/1 sessions, lunch and learns, as well as assisting employees with general systems enquiries and ensuring processes are well documented.

To be successful in this position you will need to demonstrate:

  • Tertiary qualification and/or significant relevant experience in training and development.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering engaging and effective training workshops relating to the use of digital systems.
  • A strong interest in technology systems and learning.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on effective communication across a diverse range of customers (internal and external).
  • Demonstrated experience in managing multiple learning and development projects, including leading training workshops.
  • Current National Police Clearance Certificate.
  • Current 'C' Class Drivers Licence.
