We are seeking a Head of Delivery to lead one cohesive delivery team - aligning our consulting and engineering capabilities to deliver high-impact solutions to our clients and in line with Solentive's strategic goals. In this senior leadership role, you'll be responsible for driving operational excellence, enabling team performance, and ensuring our projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to client satisfaction.

This is a hands-on and strategic position where you'll wear many hats; delivery lead, team mentor, client partner, problem solver, and change champion. You'll work closely with cross-functional leaders to ensure our offerings and ways of working continue to evolve alongside our strategy and growth ambitions.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the successful delivery of multiple service streams, and project execution, ensuring outcomes are achieved within scope, time, budget, and quality expectations.

Align and manage a cohesive delivery team - including service delivery managers, consultants, engineers, and project leads - to deliver with clarity and purpose.

Own the line management of the delivery team, including 1:1s, performance development, and identifying skill gaps aligned to Solentive’s growth areas: Data, AI, and Adoption & Change.

Champion resource optimisation, utilisation, and project forecasting to ensure teams are supported and commercial goals are met.

Act as a senior escalation point for internal and client teams, navigating delivery challenges and enabling smooth resolution of blockers.

Collaborate with sales and presales teams to shape effective delivery strategies and ensure seamless handover and cross department collaboration.

Embed new technologies and develop & create new service offerings into our Delivery Framework, championing continuous improvement into everything we do to ensure we deliver current, pragmatic, Agile, and value-add service delivery.

Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients and partners, acting as a strategic advisor who understands their goals and challenges.

Drive a delivery culture rooted in accountability, creativity, and curiosity - balancing influence and support to get the best from people.

Contribute to strategic business planning including team structure, resourcing, and evolving our business to meet strategic goals.

Bring a change management mindset - both in how we deliver transformation for clients and in navigating change internally as we scale.

About You

You’re a highly organised, hands-on delivery leader with a passion for people, change and a drive to make things better. You know how to hold teams accountable while empowering them to do great work - and you thrive in fast-paced environments where change is the norm.

Essential Skills:

Relevant tertiary qualification (bachelor's degree in business administration, management, HR or a related field)

15+ years of professional experience in a relevant position

Proven experience leading delivery teams in a consulting, digital, or professional services environment (project management, service delivery or leadership roles)

A strong track record of managing multiple complex, concurrent projects through to successful completion

Expertise in identifying, mitigating and preventing risks in a project delivery setting

Expertise in Agile and modern delivery practices, with the confidence to adapt frameworks to suit the context

Demonstrated experience in team leadership, management, performance development, and managing through change

Deep stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence both clients and internal teams at all levels

Strong commercial acumen, including KPIs around utilisation, on-time and on-budget delivery, resourcing, and client satisfaction

Experience or interest in organisational change management - ideally both as a capability and within internal transformations

A creative, curious & proactive mindset that thrives on problem-solving and continuous improvement

Practical experience using AI in a workforce environment to improve productivity & effectiveness

Project Management certification such as PMP or Agile would be advantageous

Experience in working within the Microsoft technologies (e.g., Azure, Power Platform, .NET) would be an advantage
