Kohort Partners has been retained on a search for a Head of Technology Strategy & Architecture with a recently listed financial services organisation.

You will be part of the Senior Leadership Team, reporting directly to the CIO, with direct exposure to the board. This is a crucial leadership role for a future-focused organisation with a strong 5 year growth plan.

We’re looking for an experienced people leader, someone who can develop a technology strategy aligned to business objectives but also take full ownership of execution. You bring structure, clarity, and confidence to cross-functional collaboration and can ensure alignment acroltiple departments.

You will lead a high-performing Architecture team, guiding the future of enterprise technology and platforms across the business.

Key responsibilities:

Lead the development and execution of the enterprise-wide technology architecture strategy

Create and ensure alignment of technology strategy with business goals and long term vision

Present technology strategy, architectural strategies, progress, and recommendations to executive stakeholders and the board

Guide the transition from legacy systems to modern, scalable, cloud-based architectures

Collaborate with the CIO and senior leadership team to shape the technology roadmap

Facilitate cross-functional alignment and integration across IT, operations, and product teams

Build architectural capability through mentoring, coaching, and upskilling

Ensure architectural decisions support regulatory, risk, and compliance requirements

Evaluate emerging technologies and assess their relevance for business innovation

Provide thought leadership in technology innovation, digital transformation, and architecture trends
