Bold Park and Kings Park are managed by the Botanic Gardens and Parks Authority and offer a prestigious work environment amongst the West Australian Botanic Garden, recreational parkland and large remnant bushland areas.
We have an exciting new position for an experienced Manager to work within a small public facing organisation with diverse functions.
This role is an opportunity to make a difference to Bold Park and Kings Park and elevate the profile of the natural and cultural environment including supporting tourism and recreational experiences.
BGPA is seeking a person with the ability to develop and manage strategic programs and deliver timely operational outcomes. Building relationships, identifying and leveraging opportunities with internal and external stakeholders will be an important component to the success of the role.
The successful applicant will be required to possess or obtain a current and satisfactory National Police Check prior to commencement.

Selection Criteria
- Extensive knowledge and experience in conservation and land management, environmental, and cultural heritage management, including development, implementation and evaluation of plans, strategies, and policies.
- Proven experience in providing leadership and management to develop, support and build high performing teams across diverse functions. This includes expertise in managing finances, strategy/planning, projects, operations, and human resources effectively.
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, with proven stakeholder management, negotiation and conflict resolution skills. Extensive experience in leading a team with a strong customer focus and liaison with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven experience in supporting team(s) through adopting change management processes and implementing business improvement initiatives.
