About The Role
As an Information Technology Officer, you will provide efficient technical support to all Council staff, assisting in diagnosing and resolving technical problems and maintaining computer networks. The responsibilities will include:
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing desktop hardware and office equipment
- Maintaining network user accounts for various systems
- Keeping records of procedures, configurations, and technical information
- Managing device management systems

About You
We are looking for a candidate who can provide exceptional internal and external customer service, and has the ability to trouble-shoot and resolve technical problems and issues. The ideal candidate:
- Has a Certificate IV in Information, Digital Media, and Technology or equivalent
- Can work effectively in a team as well as independently
- Demonstrates the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks
- Shows initiative and a desire to improve work practices
- Has demonstrated ability with Microsoft Suite
You should have a keen interest in information technology and a willingness to continuously learn and grow in the field.
