Are you a retired or experienced mechanic ready to step out of the workshop but not the industry? Do you have a passion for and knowledge of light vehicle mechanical repairs?

We’re a long-established, family-owned mechanical workshop in Warners Bay looking for a Customer Service & Workshop Booking Coordinator with mechanical insight. Your role will be to speak with customers, understand their vehicle issues, and schedule bookings more accurately, ensuring the workshop runs efficiently without disruptions.

Key Responsibilities:

Speak with customers in person and over the phone to understand their vehicle issues

Assess likely work/time required and book jobs accordingly

Coordinate workshop availability and keep the schedule flowing

Provide exceptional customer service

Perform administrative tasks (invoicing, payments, parts ordering when required, etc.)

What we’re looking for:

Someone who can collaborate effectively with the existing team and create a positive work environment

Retired mechanic, technician or an individual with strong mechanical knowledge

Someone with strong communication and planning skills

Great organisation and multi-tasking ability

Comfortable with light computer/admin work

Training provided for the right individual

Mon–Thurs 8am–4:30pm & Fri 8am-3pm with an allocated half hour lunch break
