Steelbro is currently seeking an experienced Customer Service and Workshop Administrator-Heavy Vehicles to build and increase our local customer base and coordinate, build and collaborate with a small mechanical team at the STEELBRO Service Centre located at Bankstown NSW.
To be successful in this role, you will be a sales leader, have an eye of detail, a strong safety focus and enjoy leading a small team in the service and repairs of transport solutions (trailers). An ability to generate new enquires at the STEELBRO service center (Bankstown) and increase sales and workload is key driver.
Priorities and tasks include:
Develop and implement marketing strategies to ensure local operators know where we are and, what we do,
Execute customer contact to ensure local operators know where we are and what we do,
Promote the sales of new equipment and the service to existing equipment to new and established customers,
Overseeing the servicing and maintaining or our local and interstate customers on sideloader repairs and service,
Oversee the breakdown repairs on sold equipment off site (if required) to minimise customer fleet interruptions,
Oversee the identification of defects in a timely manner and taking necessary action to control and repair,
Supervision and coordination of our NSW service and repairs workshop (1-3 mechanics),
Develop, train and support workshop team to meet operational and customer needs,
Scheduling of jobs and may assist with parts sourcing,
Ensuring service and mechanical repairs are documented/recorded in internal systems and comply with statutory inspections and company requirements/standards,
Able to identify and repair Mechanical faults in heavy equipment (sideloaders)
You will likely possess the following qualifications and experience:
Previous experience in transport solutions workshop operations (2 years minimum preferable) and sales of equipment,
Strong sales and customer liaison
Customer service and sales experience - new customers
Experience and understanding of various computer systems,
Its desirable if you possess:
Excellent knowledge of mechanical equipment and terminology
Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic skills
