This is a role for someone who is highly organised, adaptable, generous, competent and multi-skilled?
You'll need to be able to:
prioritise and reply to emails while juggling phone calls?
pack online orders while keeping an eye the retail store and management reportin; and
competently manage a small team , stock, ordering and a warehouse management while keeping our customers front of mind?

A little about us...
We are a 22 year old Australian manufacturer of beeswax products - candles & wraps primarily. We're passionate about bees, beekeepers & Australian regional communities. We care about the detail, one another, our customers and the planet. Our product is positioned in the luxury space - so a strong design eye & aesthetic would be useful. We're as direct as we are kind. We work hard in the hours we're at work and value time away from work.
Reporting to the Creative Director / CEO, we're looking for an Administration & Warehouse Manager / All Rounder to keep the business humming day to day. We have strategic advisors overseeing the big picture stuff.
Our business is made up of:
a manufacturing facility
a wholesale business (selling to retailers, restaurants and religious organisations),
a retail business (online via Shopify and with a factory store),
a corporate gifting business (with branded candles & hampers full of memorable, Australian made products - our own and others)
Our products appeal to a wide range of customers - from luxury & creative design enthusiasts, to low-tox living followers.
We are also passionate about bees, Australian regional communities, building communities and sending pure light into the world.
Key Responsibilities:
email & calendar management for the business & the CEO
customer service & order management: from answering calls, to assisting customers over the phone & in store
order packing: a primary responsibility initially will be packing & dispatching orders (and then training the next employee we take on who will report to you)
website & invoicing - managing the online store (Shopify) & invoicing (MYOB) - prior experience would be great but on the job training is also provided
stock management - ensuring stock levels of packaging, wicks, office supplies and the complementary products we stock
liaising with suppliers - from photography to graphic design, packaging suppliers & collaborators… you'll be juggling many balls at once.
What we're looking for:
someone very comfortable with computers & technology... we may be a manufacturer first and foremost, but it is also necessary these days to be comfortable with ecommerce, management reporting, AI, email automation, digital marketing, social media and wholesale distribution online.
a minimum of 5 years work experience
a love of being organised, organising people, herding cats and time management
a love for detail
a flexible approach to work: every day will be different and the days fly
reliable, fit & healthy (absences have a significant impact as we're a very small team)

This is a full time position, 5 days per week, 8am - 5pm Tuesday - Saturday. We understand that it can be a challenge working Saturday's if you have children, but it is what customers want. It is also fabulous having Monday's off as everyone else goes to work and you can get all your jobs done in relative peace!
Training for all aspects of the job will be provided but you must have the right attributes. Skills can be taught, common sense / care / integrity / a love for working hard etc can't.
Applicants must have PR / citizenship or be on a path to PR via a partner visa as we invest significantly in training. Our customers also value familiarity and continuity as key indicators of quality.
