About the Role
The role of the Digital Marketing Assistant is to manage the day-to-day operations, functionality, and content of multiple websites and other digital systems and platforms. It is also responsible for ensuring an optimal and seamless customer experience through consistent website performance, up-to-date content, and the integration of key digital tools and features.
This is a key role for someone who combines a strong grasp of web technologies, digital marketing content, and data analytics, with the ability to proactively identify and solve problems in a fast-paced digital environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
Manage and execute the day-to-day front-end operation and maintenance of multiple brand websites and regions
Monitor websites’ functionality to ensure they are delivering the desired customer experience
Support implementation of new functionality or solutions to drive conversion.
Be responsible for maintaining critical tools such as store locator, live chat, ZenDesk knowledge bank, wishlists, forms & subscribers.
Develop and maintain the website CMS ensuring all information / media is accurate and up to date and optimised for SEO
Manage delivery of new or updated online content (text, images, videos, links) and execute marketing content as directed, ensuring that information is current and integrated with messaging on other marketing channels.
Identify and communicate digital specific photography and asset needs when required
Implement recommendations from the SEO Strategy across all brand websites
Maintain a log of content updates, edits, and additions.
Support the Ecommerce Manager with administrative tasks in the planning, briefing, building of ad sets, optimisation and reporting of paid campaigns across various channels including Meta, Pinterest, LinkedIn & Google.
Support the Marketing Manager and the Ecommerce Manager with database management of diverse data sets, including product data entry for websites
Work with complex product data sets, exporting product data from our ERP system, updating and adding relevant data, checking and auditing data is correct and importing new data into our ERP.
Problem solve using complex data sets when an issue is identified on the website, identifying errors in data and rectifying.
Create and maintain accurate PIM data exports from our ERP system for customer use.
Support in uploading new and maintaining existing media files to the DAM system, including tagging of product SKUs
Organise and maintain filing management of images, files and resources for the marketing team using our DAM system
Ensure accuracy of data and integration with ERP
Produce accurate and timely monthly analytics reports by collating data from various sources in our online reporting platform (Whatagraph)
Use various tools to produce reports and analysis on digital efforts where required
Assist with various other required data and administrative tasks across SDGs digital systems and platforms, including our B2B Portal, ERP and CRM systems, and analytics and reporting.
Manage all credit card receipts and billing for digital platforms and paid campaigns
Required Skills and Experience
Essential
Recent Graduate with a degree in Digital Marketing (or similar) and/or 1-2 years of experience in a Website/Digital Assistant role
Enthused by a challenge, work quickly and efficiently and able to handle multiple tasks and competing deadlines
Excellent organisational skills
High attention to detail and ability to work with large data sets with accuracy
Proactive, with the ability to learn quickly and problem solve
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office: e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Website CMS systems
Desirable:
An interest and ideally experience in the architecture, interior design, building or architectural hardware market.
