Position Description:

The position offers the exciting and challenging opportunity to join the C-Res Administration Team to provide HR support, administrative services and advice to all employees on a part-time basis (30-32hours per week). The Human Resources Advisor (HRA) is responsible for providing accurate and timely HR Advice, facilitate end to end recruitment, and advise on all people-related matters to ensure the smooth running, compliance and governance of people resources. This role is accountable for managing all employee lifecycle tasks, ranging from recruitment, performance, development to offboarding, ensuring a continuous improvement mindset applied to all activities undertaken.

Here is a taste of what you can expect in this role

  • Creation, maintenance and implementation of human resource related documentation, including policies, procedures and guidance notes in line with relevant review timeframes.
  • End to End recruitment activities, including the development of position descriptions, managing recruitment, candidate talent pools and preparation of employee contracts and variations.
  • Effectively communicate key changes to process, legislation and other key information to relevant stakeholders to enable compliance.
  • Maintain human resource records, information and databases ensuring accuracy and compliance with all legislative requirements .
  • Support relevant managers with employee relations, including investigations of complaints and allegations made of harassment, racism, sexism, favouritism etc. and provide advice and guidance as required.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and SME to all employees.

Known for being solutions-focused, adaptable, and detail-oriented, you thrive on supporting both employees and business objectives through responsive and effective HR practices.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business or similar Management.

Essential Skills & attributes:

  • Strong knowledge of contemporary HR processes, understanding of Australian employment legislation and practices and the ability to accurately interpret Awards.
  • Knowledge of HR functions and experience providing HR Support to Managers and Senior Leaders.
  • High level of discretion and sensitivity when dealing with confidential matters, including showing empathy.
  • Sound knowledge across all HR functions and processes including payroll state compliance.
  • Self-starter with proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Demonstrated Project Management experience and ability to plan and execute multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to accept and provide constructive feedback to strive for continuous improvement.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, ability to develop and maintain positive relationships across a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint)

Desirable Skills:

  • HRIS experience.
