THE POSITION

We are currently seeking a talented developer with experience in designing and delivering web-based software. The successful candidate will elevate our team, level up our processes and above all enjoy a good working culture. Your responsibilities shall require the ability to:

Lead, mentor and inspire a team of web developers.

Guide technical architecture and design decisions across the development stack.

Maintain high standards ensuring Software Quality process, Technical Specifications, coding standards and style guides are adhered to.

Work with stakeholders (internal and external) to scope, plan and execute features against resource constraints and project timelines.

Perform all technical tasks of web developers, including taking database schemas, UI/UX wireframes and functional specifications and translating into software.

Maintain active awareness of hosted infrastructure health and deployment pipelines.

THE PERFECT PROFILE

You have strong interpersonal and communication abilities, excellent time management and organisation skills along with the demonstrated ability to provide technical leadership and mentorship. You will have proven technical experience – preferably with VueJS, Django and PostgreSQL stack - and are able to explain and instruct on both technical questions and business requirements.

With previous experience in a similar role, you have shown leadership in software quality and delivering code that is maintainable. You can communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of technical ability.

As a true professional in your field, you possess high attention to detail, maintain a high standard of accuracy and precision while also having good analytical skills for solution design.
