We’re seeking an AWS Cloud Engineer with strong DevOps experience to manage CI/CD pipelines and containerised applications. You’ll work closely with our development and support teams to deploy and maintain applications across new and existing environments.

Duties/Responsibilities

Design, secure and optimise containerised and traditional cloud application environments.

Develop scripted deployments and utilise automated deployment tools.

Monitor and manage infrastructure to support 24/7 availability and respond to operational incidents.

Work with a fast-paced team delivering tight development deadlines.

Support an ISO27001 compliant environment with a diverse range of new and existing applications.

Skills and experience

Mandatory

Minimum 3 years of experience in AWS cloud services and/or relevant AWS certification such as SysOps Administrator Associate, Solutions Architect, Developer Associate or other.

Experience with cloud security, networking, computation, storage, and application integration components.

Strong Docker/Linux experience to containerise application

Experience with any DevOps tool (GitHub actions, Octopus Deploy, CloudFormation, Azure Pipelines).

Experience in working with project teams to deliver web and application solutions.

Desirable

AWS Accredited or certified professional.

Tertiary qualification in an IT related discipline.

Experience in Azure cloud services and Azure AD.

Experience with web applications and RESTful APIs.

Solid understanding of the full development process and Agile (Scrum & Kanban) methodologies.
