The Three Pound Group is a Western Australian hospitality group that has been proudly operating for over 10 years. We currently manage five venues across the Perth metropolitan area: The Stables, The Reveley, The Camfield, The Elford, and Good Company Bar with approximately 300+ employees. With two new venues set to open in October 2025, this is an exciting time to be a part of our growing team.

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Human Resources Generalist to join us on a 12-month parental leave contract. This full-time role will provide broad HR support across the business and contribute to key HR functions, processes, and compliance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Respond to day-to-day HR queries from managers and employees

Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records

Provide clear, compliant HR advice aligned with company policy and current legislation

Interpret the Hospitality Industry (General) Award (HIGA) and other industrial instruments as required

Ensure ongoing compliance with RSA, Red Card, visa, First Aid certifications, etc.

Manage end-to-end recruitment, including advertising, screening, interviews, and reference checks

Prepare and provide appropriate employment contracts

Administer the full employee lifecycle: onboarding, offboarding, promotions, and contractual changes

Collaborate with Payroll to support accurate and timely pay processing

Support disciplinary process and performance management activities

Assist in the development, review and implementation of HR policies and procedures

Support the administration of WorkCover claims and return-to-work processes

Assist with the preparation and maintenance of visa applications

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field

High volume recruitment experience would be beneficial

Familiarity with the Hospitality Industry (General) Award (HIGA) and/or experience in the hospitality sector highly regarded

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach

High attention to detail with excellent organisational and administrative abilities
