About this position
The City of Gosnells is seeking to appoint a proactive Rates Officer to join its Financial Services Branch. This position reports to the Coordinator Rates and assists with the levying and collection of rates and the maintenance of the City’s property database and rates valuation register.
What we are looking for
Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills to liaise with customers.
Strong financial, analytical and problem-solving skills with accuracy and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills to complete administrative tasks in a busy environment.
The ability to work effectively as a member of a small team, exercising initiative and sound judgment to proactively contribute to the business unit.
Essential requirements
Current National Police clearance (less than three months old) Please note: This is not essential to apply for the role but will be required at a later stage as it is an appointment condition.
