About the Opportunity
As an Urban Forest Officer, you’ll play a key role in enhancing and protecting the City of Melville’s tree canopy. You’ll be responsible for advising on tree-related matters, supporting the planning and building process and implementing our Urban Forest Strategy through planting programs and maintenance activities. Your day-to-day will include monitoring tree health, auditing assets, collecting data and assisting in the development of policies to manage our urban forest.

To be successful in this role, you will possess:
Essential
Minimum Certificate III Arboriculture or extensive knowledge and skill gained through on the job training and work experience.
Current ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence.
Current White Card or ability to obtain.
Experience in providing technical support related to trees
