The Opportunity

Infracon Pacific Pty Ltd, a leading provider of building management and automation solutions, is seeking a talented BMS / Automation Engineer to join our team in Landsborough, Queensland. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in designing, implementing and maintaining state-of-the-art building management systems that optimise energy efficiency and enhance the overall user experience.

There will be regular travel involved including to our Port Moresby office in Papua New Guinea, so a willingness and ability to travel is a must.

Key Responsibilities

Design, install and commission building management systems (BMS) and power automation solutions for a range of commercial and industrial facilities

Integrate various building systems such as HVAC, lighting, security and access control to create seamless, energy-efficient environments

Develop custom programming and configuration for BMS controllers and software to meet client requirements

Provide ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting and support for existing BMS installations

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, electricians and HVAC technicians, to ensure successful project delivery

Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies and best practices in building automation

Partake in R&D and product development initiatives

What We're Looking For

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in building management systems and automation, preferably in the commercial or industrial sector

Proficient in programming and configuring BMS software namely Schneider Ecostruxure Building Operations

Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical, and building management systems and their integration

Excellent problem-solving, analytical and troubleshooting skills

Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse stakeholders

Ability to work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality projects

A positive attitude and a true enthusiasm BMS, power automation systems and emerging technologies

Interest in power automation and energy management systems primarily centred about renewable energy

Creative thinker that can think outside of the box to achieve solutions and outcomes

Experience with Schneider/Citect Power Scada advantageous

Experience in DER control systems such as ComAp / Deif is advantageous
