The Role

This client has a significant national workload, with over 400 JV3 assessments in the pipeline, making it one of the core focuses of the immediate role. As a starting point, your day-to-day responsibilities will be heavily geared toward energy modelling and compliance assessments specifically for JV3, playing a key role in helping deliver this high-volume demand efficiently and accurately.
Over time, however, the role will evolve to encompass the full spectrum of ESD services.

This includes contributing to Green Star and NABERS submissions, conducting Section J assessments, thermal comfort and daylighting analyses, lifecycle assessments, and broader sustainability strategy support. You’ll also be involved in client advisory, project management, stakeholder engagement, and technical reporting—supporting Net Zero goals through integrated design advice and coordination. It's a hands-on role with room to grow into a well-rounded ESD consultant.

We are seeking a candidate with

• A bachelor’s degree in engineering, building services, or a related discipline (postgraduate qualifications highly regarded).
• Proven experience conducting JV3 assessments and building energy modelling using tools such as DesignBuilder/EnergyPlus.
• Strong working knowledge of NCC Section J compliance and energy efficiency regulations.
• Practical skills in preparing technical reports and delivering efficient, code-compliant design solutions across a range of building types.
